He was born on 30th of December in Gdansk but was raised in Malbork. In 2002, when he was 13 years old, he had a tragic accident – as a result of an electric shock (15 000V) he had his arm and leg amputated. Two years later along with Marek Kaminski he set off for a journey to the North and South Pole. In the following years he took part in various expeditions to Kilimanjaro, Elbrus, mountain El Capitan and he even ran in the New York City Marathon.

He moves on his prosthetic leg, but he does not use prosthetic arm. In 2009 he started “Poza Horyzonty” (Beyond Horizons) foundation which helps people with amputated limbs to return to their active lifestyle.

He is a winner of many prestigious awards in sports and pro-social activity. For a couple of years he conducts motivational training sessions for companies.

In his spare time he hitchhikes, takes photos of the old buildings, sews on the sewing machine and plays with Slackline.
