Oskar Skibski

 

Oskar Skibski graduated in Computer Science from the University of Warsaw in 2010 and was awarded a PhD from the same university in 2014. He received Special Jury Award for the Best Theoretical PhD Dissertation from Polish Artificial Intelligence Society. After receiving PhD, he spent over a year working at the Kyushu University in Japan. Currently, he is a researcher at the University of Warsaw.He is a leader of two projects with the total amount of funding over 1 million PLN. His main research interests are cooperative game theory and network analysis. The applications of his work include social networks analysis, terrorist networks analysis, and parliament analysis. He presented his work all over the world, spanning from Buenos Aires and San Francisco to Singapore and Tokyo. He is a dedicated teacher with a 6.89 out of 7.0 average of student ratings of his classes from the last academic year. He is known among students for his good explanations and relaxed atmosphere during classes. He was an invited speaker at TEDxWarsaw in 2017
